Two roles. Day one.

These are founding team positions. You'll shape the culture and operations of CoLab Haus from the ground up.

Full-Time · St. Petersburg, FL

Operations Director

This is the person who runs CoLab Haus day to day. You'll be the face of the incubator — managing residents, running events, scouting new technology, and making sure every founder who walks through the door has what they need to succeed.

What you'll do

Take care of residents — be their first call when they need anything
Organize and run events — Pitch Day, CEO masterminds, demo days, community gatherings
Evaluate incoming technology and applications
Prospect technology from university tech transfer offices
Run competitions, coordinate overflow work with ABDA Labs, manage Filtrous supply stocking
Build relationships with investors, mentors, and the Tampa Bay biotech community

Who you are

Background in life sciences, biotech, or the lab industry
Can evaluate technology — you understand what makes a lab product viable
Naturally hospitable — you genuinely enjoy helping people succeed
Event planning experience (or the energy to figure it out)
Comfortable with ambiguity — this is a startup, you'll wear many hats
Based in or willing to relocate to St. Petersburg, FL

Receptionist

The front door of CoLab Haus. You're the first person residents, visitors, and prospective founders interact with. You keep the space running smoothly and make sure everyone feels welcome.

What you'll do

Welcome visitors, manage front desk, handle incoming calls and mail
Coordinate conference room bookings and shared resources
Help coordinate Filtrous supply stocking and inventory management
Assist with event logistics for Pitch Day, masterminds, and community events
Keep the facility organized — common areas, supply rooms, shared spaces

Who you are

Friendly, professional, and organized
Strong communicator — comfortable with scientists, investors, and vendors
Detail-oriented — nothing falls through the cracks
Interest in science/biotech is a plus (but not required)
Based in the Tampa Bay area
